FOR THIS CLASS YOU DON’T NEED ANY PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE WITH PASTA MAKING SINCE YOU LEARN HOW TO MAKE BASIC AND COLOURED PASTA DOUGH.
Come learn how to make 3 wonderful types of filled pasta. You’ll prepare the dough from scratch and work at the fillings that make these stuffed pastas irresistible.
The pastas will be perfect for any nice dinner and festivities.
MENU:
Cappellacci con burrata e pomodori secchi (big red tortelli with burrata cheese, basil and sun-dried tomatoes) with a sauce made with courgette, cherry tomatoes and pine-nuts;
Fagottini con pecorino e piselli (little pillows stuffed with a pecorino and peas cream) with a tomato, basil, pecorino and fennel seed sauce;
Caramelle con ricotta, nocciole e arancia (caramelle with ricotta, orange and hazelnut), with a red onion, orange juice and grappa sauce.
What You Can Expect: you’ll learn filled pasta techniques (3 pastas). During our workshops you work together with other students in a relaxed, hands-on environment under the guidance of our professional cooking instructors.
- Classes last 4 hours max.
- You work with other students in groups of 2 pp. and make all the pastas.
- This workshop is limited to 12 students.
- You will be standing, working and cooking for most of the time so make sure you wear comfortable clothing and shoes, and tie back long hair.
- You will enjoy a glass of Prosecco at arrival, wine, beer and other drinks with little nibbles during cooking class and dinner, plus a generous tasting of all the pastas made, with their sauces. A glass of limoncello or other liqueur with a cup of tea or coffee will be the perfect digestive.
You’ll prepare 3 pastas and we make 3 sauces to go with them.
We encourage taking home left-overs/surplus pasta so please take your own containers.
Should you have any allergies/intolerances/special dietary requirements, please state them when booking this workshop. Adjustments to recipes during the workshop are quite difficult and sometimes impossible. Thank you for your collaboration.
