Culinary holidays in Sicily – cooking under Mount Etna!
Together with renowned Dutch travel agency Style in Travel we organize fantastic culinary holidays in Sicily with Nicoletta of La Cucina del Sole as cooking instructor.
Sicily is a region with an incredibly rich and fascinating local cuisine.
Enjoy Sicily’s culinary delights with Nicoletta and stay under the impressive Etna volcano (we’re far enough, don’t worry! :D) in a beautiful 4-stars hotel in Giarre.
We are taking you to this beautiful destination where you will not only enjoy the culinary richness this island has to offer but where you will also get acquainted with this region’s unique multi-cultural heritage.
We visit Modica, Italy’s chocolate capital where this great product is still made with an ancient Aztec recipe. We also go to the charming towns of Siracusa and Noto, have a drink on the beautiful piazza in Taormina and walk along the boulevard in cozy Giardini Naxos. This wonderful 8-days culinary holiday includes three Sicilian cooking workshops led by Nicoletta Tavella. Add this to the abundant consumption of Sicilian brioches with gelato, granitas and cannoli in the local pastry shop and of marvellous Sicilian wines and you’ll have the perfect foodie-proof holiday.
We offer this culinary trip without flights so that you can come and go as you prefer and even book an extension. If you wish, Style in Travel can also book all the flights for you and take care of extra hotel stays, car rental and more. Please let us know if you’d like some information on flights and prices from and to your own location.

Ortigia has a compact medieval center with narrow streets full of Baroque monuments and the beautiful Piazza Duomo. On the mainland you will find many charming points of interest including the Teatro Greco (ancient Greek theater), one of the largest and best preserved Greek amphitheaters in the world, but also the Neapolis archaeological site and the tomb of Archimedes.
